June Trips

As soon as school got out, we headed out on a family vacation. While we'd planned to get away, we had a tough time decided where to ultimately go and made several of those decisions on the way. Needless to say - it worked out and we had a great time.

We stopped in Southern Utah at Cove Fort where President Hinckley's father grew up. Here are the doors to the fort

After spending time at Cove Fort, we headed south to St. George Utah. On our way, we took a side trip through Zion's National Park. While my husband had been there, I never had. We wished that we had much more time, but saw some turkeys running along the road side. Later on, we saw them nesting in the trees - that was a little odd...
