Halloween Bats

It is nice when your kids want to be the same thing for Halloween - it cuts down on the brain work of how to make everything work. Our Halloween was gorgeous and we skipped out on the ward party so that we could celebrate our annual tradition of trick or treating in the village. The best part is that it is always from 1-4 pm. It was so warm we didn't need jackets, it was light outside and we could take our time and enjoy it. Later on, the kids visited some of our neighbors in the neighborhood, and then came home for hot cocoa, showers and bed.
Here's our daughter as she dressed up for the school parade.

I couldn't get a good shot of our youngest child at school, so we just get the black faces they decided to go with for the real thing!

I can't believe how much your oldest daughter looks like you! That picture could have been taken from your childhood scrapbook in front of Grandma J's house. Wow. Lucky girl is going to grow up with all the boys after her (if she doesn't beat them up or outrun them first... such a tomboy).
You have snow! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, I just hadn't thought about it much.
