Thanks for finally posting. I was a litt...OK, Mare! Thanks for finally posting. I was a little worried.
Well, here is a little tidbit for you about WA. Remember my cello?
How could you forget ANY cello in the world, right?
I gave it away to a little boy from Shoreline, WA this summer. So it's there, probably not far from you. He and his dad visited us this summer. The dad is a childhood friend of my oldest son. We have kept in touch with the family by Facebook. I knew that the boy played the cello. When they arrived here I asked about his music. Dad said that they were going to have to get the kid an adult size cello. Right away I opened my mouth and said, "Well I have one I have been thinking about giving to a local elementary school orchestra." The deed was done and they drove away later with my cello. I have since seen one photo of the boy playing it. I did ask for some video of him, too. We'll see if I get any. I would love to know where you are now. Life is funny. It's so easy to lose contact, even with social media. Cat
ps. You could see the kid and the cello on my Flickr page, you know.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
